When traveling or transiting through Ethiopia, all travelers are required to fill in the Ethiopian travel health declaration form.
One is required to fill in this form before leaving their respective country.
If you arrive in Ethiopia without having filled the form, you will not be allowed entry. You will be given a form to fill in or do so online.

Why Does Ethiopia Require You to Fill in The Form?
The Ministry of Health in Ethiopia in conjunction with the Ethiopian Public Health Institute require all passengers transiting through or visiting Ethiopia to fill the form as part of a Cross Border communicable disease control measure.
As of the time of writing this (October 2024), the main reason for this process is to manage the spread of M-pox or Monkeypox.
